I recently had a fun Baecation to Flordia and one of the stops was in Miami. I made 3 different reservations for 3 different hotels and apparently booked the wrong dates for the one in Miami.
Long story short, after contacting Priceline about this they ensured me that I needed to speak to the hotel to resolve the problem since the dates had passed. The hotel could have helped me but the workers there decided not to. They decided to instead have me lose $300.
I was so upset and was going back and forth to only find out that the staff there was playing around with me, lying, just to get out of helping a customer that paid.
The anger that I experience was much. As I look back I was reminded that in times like this you have to be able to take a step back and be thankful in the position you are in. Yes I wanted my money back or the usage of the room I paid to stay in but at the end of the day, I can afford to book another hotel and not waste an hour with someone shenanigans.
I was imagining being the young lady on the other end. The type of thinking it takes for someone to be in a position to help someone and don't. Take it as the universe telling you, more is to come.
By the way, the hotel is Comfort Suites Miami Airport North. I would stay away from this place.
Till the Next...
